Professional Dog Grooming Salon in Ewell, Surrey

Our
Story

Get to Know Us

After starting the business in 2020, Lou opened our lovely salon on Poole Road, Ewell in 2023 which has allowed us to take on more wonderful clients and groom dogs with love.

Our small team groom all dogs from the tiny teacups to the big friendly giants and would love to welcome yours to our salon.

We stock a range of natural treats too and you are more than welcome to just pop in for those! Lou's dog, Dylan, comes to work everyday too and always appreciates a biscuit!

We are a crate free salon and find that most dogs are happy exploring and getting into bed after their groom (or playing with Dylan).

Reviews

"Cookie always comes from Lou's looking gorgeous. He likes to strut around like he is the hottest dog in the world after a groom. Been to other groomers in the past but 100% this is the best!"

"We have been taking our very excitable cockerpoo to Lou for over 2 years. We would never go anywhere else. Lou is kind, patient, understanding and a skilled groomer. Thank you Lou for looking after our boy and making him look fabulous every time"

"Highly recommend Lou's Dog Grooming. My old dog groomer stopped working a few years ago and I tried lots of different groomers but they were nowhere as good as Lou. Once my dog had his first cut with Lou, we haven't been anywhere else since. I have a labradoodle, which can be a tricky breed to cut, but Lou gets it perfect every time and just how I like it"

"Our little beagle has been going to Lou's since she was a tiny pup for her baths and absolutely loves it, she comes out smelling amazing and looking fresh! 100% recommend"

"Archie and Pippa absolutely love coming to Lou's dog grooming. They always look gorgeous and smell amazing. Lou listens to what I would like and I'm always incredibly happy with their groom. We wouldn't go anywhere else and always highly recommend to friends"

"The best cuts around for the best prices. Our dog is always so fluffy and looks amazing. He is a very nervous dog with new people but Lou’s groomers is the only groomers he and we feel safe and happy with home going to!"

Can I Stay?

We prefer that owners do not stay for their dogs groom, they normally behave better without distraction and we like to build our own connection with them!

We send a new client form out so we can make note of any allergies, health conditions or dislikes that your dog has, we will also have a chat when you drop them off to us.

We will always call you if we need you but your dog is in very good hands!

What If I Need To Cancel?

Full payment for an appointment cancelled within 24 hours or a "no show" will be required before a new appointment can be booked. This is to cover our loss of income and time.

Customers over 15 minutes late will be counted as a 'no show' and will require full payment of the appointment fee before a new appointment can be booked. We rely on our clients being on time so we can efficiently do our jobs and not effect other clients appointments.

My Dog Is Matted, What Will You Do?

Matted coats are a breach of The Animal Welfare Act 2006. Under no circumstances will we spend longer than 15 minutes de-matting a coat or putting your dog through any discomfort. The kindest thing to do in the case of a matted pet is to clip them on a very short length. We may charge an extra fee for this to cover our time.

Curly coated breeds need grooming on a 6-8 week schedule and this along with regular brushing and combing at home is the best way to prevent matting.

How Do I Book?

The easiest way to book in with us is to give us a call on 0203 152 8052. We may not always be able to answer if we are grooming a dog, but if you leave us a message, we will call back you as soon as we can.

You can also reach us via email or our Facebook page if you need to contact us outside of our opening times which are Tuesday - Saturday between 9am and 5pm.
